UPSEE 2020: Postponed, Admit Card Delayed, Correction Extended, New Exam Date Soon

UPSEE 2020 – AKTU has postponed the UPSEE exam. The exam will not be held on May 10, 2020, and admit cards will not be released on April 27, 2020. Also, the last date to do corrections in application form has been extended to April 14, 2020. Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) will now be held on a new date which AKTU will decide and announce in some time. Read this article to know the details of UPSEE 2020 exam date, application process, syllabus, exam pattern, etc.

UPSEE 2020 POSTPONED

The UPSEE 2020 exam is hereby postponed. AKTU was supposed to hold the exam for paper 1 to 8 on May 10, 2020. However now the exam will not be held on the scheduled date. Although the official notice has not provided any reason behind the postponement, it is anticipated to be due to the COVID-19 situation, extended lockdowns, and sealing off of zones with high intensity of coronavirus infected cases.

UPSEE 2020 EXAM PATTERN

Mode of the exam: The entrance exam is conducted in offline mode.

Duration of the exam: The duration differs for different papers. Check the duration below

  • Paper 1,2- Duration 3 Hours

  • Paper 3- Duration 2 hours and 30 minutes

  • Paper 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8- Duration- 02 hours.

Type of questions: The question paper consists of objective type multiple choice questions.

Language of the questions: English and Hindi language.

Marking scheme: 04 marks for each correct answers / 05 marks for B.Arch and. No negative marking for an incorrect answer.

UPSEE 2020 APPLICATION PROCESS

Step 1: Apply for Online Registration

Register using personal details such as contact details and choose a password for login. Provide your active and valid contact number and email id in the registration form of UPSEE. All details of the exam are communicated to the candidates via email.

Step 2: Fill Online Application Form

Once registered, access the online form of UPSEE 2020 and fill in details such as course applying for, education details, 3 choices of exam city etc. Candidates can only submit one application form. Multiple applications are rejected. 

Step 3: Upload Scanned Photo & Signature

The scanned images of recent passport sized images and signature of the candidates are to be uploaded in the application form of UPSEE 2020. 

Step 4: Pay Examination Fee

Application Fee – The payment of the application fee of UPSEE 2020 can be done online.

Step 5: Print “confirmation page”

Once the payment of the candidates is successful, a confirmation page id is generated. The candidates must take a print of this page and keep it for future reference.

UPSEE 2020 ADMIT CARD

UPSEE 2020 admit card is released after the completion of the registration process mentioned above. All the candidates can download their admit card of UPSEE 2020 through the official website as per the schedule by entering their application number and password. Candidates must take a printout of the admit card after the download. Candidates are required to go to the UPSEE 2020 exam center along with their UPSEE 2020 admit card. Entry without UPSEE Admit Card is prohibited in the exam center. 

UPSEE 2020 RESULT

UPSEE 2020 result is released by AKTU on the official website. The result of UPSEE 2020 will be released based on the basis of performance of the candidate in the examination. Candidates have to use their login details like roll number and date of birth, to download the scorecard from upsee.nic.in.

UPSEE 2020 COUNSELLING PROCESS

Selected candidates are required to attend the counseling round for the final admission process. Candidates whose names are there in the merit list need to reach the counseling center on the given date and time. Candidates will be notified regarding the schedule of the UPSEE 2020 counselling on the official website/ email on their registered mail id. The allotment of the seats shall vary on the day of the counselling as it will be dependent on the availability of the seats on that very day.
