KLEEE 2020: Exam Date Postponed, Phase 2 Application Form Available


Due to COVID-19, KLEEE 2020 phase 2 exam dates that were going to be conducted on 9th to 13th April 2020, are now postponed because the exam dates are coming in between the period of lockdown in India. The 21 day lock down will end on 14th April 2020 (tentatively).

Therefore, as expected, KL University has officially announced that they have been postponing the exam. Until now, there is no info on what the new exam dates can be. As soon as KL University takes a decision on this, candidates can know the changes through this link:

Candidates who wish to seek admission into B.Tech courses need to qualify KLEEE 2020 eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of KLEEE 2020 includes qualifying exam, minimum marks criteria, subject combination. 

  • Qualifying exam: The candidate should pass 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized institute.

  • Subject combination: Candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) combination are eligible for admission to all B.Tech programmes, also including Bio-Tech. Candidates belonging to Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) group are eligible for admission to B.Tech (Bio Technology), B.Pharmacy.

  • Minimum qualifying marks exam: The candidate should have minimum 60% marks in aggregate in the three subjects taken together.

Application form of KLEEE 2020 has been released by the authorities both online and offline. Candidates have to submit an application form before the last date (that is different for each phase), or else it will be rejected. The candidates must ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria before filling the form of KLEE 2020; only correct and verifiable information will be accepted in the application form of KLEEE 2020. Steps to fill the application form of KLEEE 2020:

KLEEE 2020 Application form process in the Online mode

  • Form Filling: The application form consists of different sections such as – contact, personal, and academic details, that has to be filled. The candidate also needs to mention the name of the program in the order of priority (if more than one course is chosen).

  • Photograph uploading: Only a scanned photograph (less than 100 kb) in JPG format has to be uploaded.

  • Application fee payment: The application fee of KLEEE 2020 Rs. 900 which has to be paid online through credit and debit cards or net banking.

  • Application form Submission: After filling all the details submit the form and take the print out of the completed application form. Filling the application form of KLEEE 2020 in offline mode

Application form filling in offline mode:

  • In person: Payment of Rs. 1000 in cash or DD

  • By speed post: By sending a request with a self-addressed envelope cover remitting Rs. 1000 by cash or DD

The admit card of KLEEE 2020 will be released separately for each phase. The KLEEE 2020 admit card is a very important document which has to be taken to the exam center and also for completing subsequent admission formalities. 

Steps to download KLEEE 2020 Admit Card

  • Click on the admit card download link of KLEEE 2020

  • Log-in to the portal using application number of KLEEE 202022

  • The admit card will appear on the screen


The result of KLEEE 2020 will be released separately for each phase in online mode. For c22hecking the results, the candidate needs to log-in to the result portal by using their application and hall ticket numbers. The result will include details such as the overall and subject-wise marks secured by the candidate in the exam, and the rank secured in KLEEE 2020 by the candidate. Based on the result, the merit list will be prepared and candidates will be selected for counselling process and seat allotment process. Candidates who are ranked higher in the merit list are more likely to get a seat of their choice. 

How to check KLEEE 2020 Result

  • Log-in to result portal using application number and hall ticket number

  • After logging-in, the result will be displayed on the screen.


KLEEE 2020 cutoff for admission to various B.Tech programmes will be decided by the authorities of the KLEEE University. The cutoff is the last rank for admission that is offered, so candidates must score at least up to or more than the required cutoff. The cutoff is based on the number of seats available for the course applied. The cutoff varies from one branch to another and also according to the categories.

The candidate can check previous year’s cutoff to get an idea about the marks they will need to secure a seat for admission. 


Counselling Mode: Offline

KLEEE 2020 counselling will be conducted in offline mode tentatively in the first week of May at Vijayawada and Hyderabad campus. Based on the merit rank in KLEEE candidates will be placed in different groups, or in EAMCET, JEE Advanced or JEE Main. It is very important to get your documents verified as it is an integral part of the KLEEE 2020 counselling process, and only then the candidates will be allotted a seat.
