ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NEET 2020

 

                 AGE LIMIT

  • Minimum Age – 17 Years on or before 31st December of the year of admission as Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2020

  • Maximum Age – upper age limit has been removed Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2020

 ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

  • The candidate must have qualified Class 12 from any recognized board.

  • The candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/biotechnology and English as a compulsory subject for Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2020.

  • Candidates should’ve scored minimum 50% marks in general category, 45% marks for Physically Handicapped, 40% marks for SC/ST in PCB group.

  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

              NATIONALITY

  • Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for NEET UG as Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2020

  • Candidates from J&K state are eligible to apply for 15% All India Quotas on the basis of self declaration as Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2020

  NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS

  • 9 times for General Candidates

  • 14 times for SC, ST and OBC Candidates

EXAM PATTERN of NEET 2020

NEET 2020 EXAM PATTERN is an offline (pen & paper), 3 hour exam which consists of 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) subjects.

The NEET Exam is of 720 marks in total. 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer in the NEET 2020 EXAM PATTERN

NEET 2020 question paper will be framed in Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and Kanadda languages as NEET 2020 EXAM PATTERN

NEET 2020 APPLICATION FORM


The NEET 2020 APPLICATION FORM releases and registration starts on 2nd December 2020, and the last date to fill up the NEET 2020 Application Form will be 31st December 2020. It will be an online mode of submission of the NEET 2020 Application Form and the candidates may refer to the step-by-step approach to fill in the application form.

  1. Registration

In order to access the NEET 2020 Application Form, register on NEET website where you will be issued an ID and password on the registered ID or Mobile No. for future logins.

  1. Fill the online NEET 2020 APPLICATION FORM

It is important to fill the required personal details, Examination center choice, Academic details and address.

  1. Uploading Photo and signature for NEET 2020 Application Form

Image: In JPEG format between 10 KB and 100 KB in size

Signature: In JPEG format between 3KB and 20 KB in size

Right hand index finger impression: In JPEG format between 3 KB and 20 KB in size

  1. Fee Payment for NEET 2020 Application Form

Online fee payment can be done via Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking.

Offline fee payment can be done via e-challan by depositing fee in CBSE’s bank account in Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India and HDFC Bank generated at the time of online registration.

 

For GENERAL/OBC – Rs.1400/-

For SC/ST/PH – Rs. 750/-

 

NEET 2020 RESULT

NTA conducted the NEET 2020 for admission into MBBS and BDS courses and the NEET 2020 RESULT will be declared on 4 June 2020 for which the NEET 2020 Score Card will be available in an online mode.

The minimum NEET 2020 marks required to qualify the NEET 2020 will be 50% for general category & 40% for reserved category. NEET 2020 ANSWER KEY is also available to the students before the result declaration.

 

NEET 2020 CUTOFF

The minimum qualifying percentile in NEET 2020 CUTOFF is required to qualify for further admission process.
