IIM - ROHTAK 2020 Eligibility, Program Structure, Application Process, Admission Process

Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak is a part of management institutes of IIMs present all over India. IIM is a chain of public business schools with branches in different parts of the country. The Rohtak branch was established in the year 2010 as a part of 6 new IIMs planned under the 11th five-year plan. IIM Rohtak has been considered as top five IIMs among all the other chains.

The course is composed of 15 words distributed over a 5-year duration. A year has three terms, each with a period of 3 months. The whole curriculum is split into two parts; the first section is based on the basic courses, while the second part is centered on the management. Students are required to attend internships at the end of the academic year.


The students keen to apply for the Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) will undergo eligibility criteria as given below. 

  • General, NC-OBC and EWS Category: Minimum 60% in standard 10th and standard 12th or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2020.

  • SC, ST, and PWD (DAP) Category has minimum 55% in standard 10th and 12th examinations or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2020.

Note 1: Applicants who are likely to complete the XII / HSC level or equivalent by the end of June 30th 2020 may also apply, subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria set out above. These applicants will be given provisional access to the program is chosen. These candidates must generate standard mark sheets of X and XII at the time of registration for the program (securing minimum marks, i.e. 60 percent for General, EWS and NC-OBC or 55 percent for SC, ST and, PWD) together with school-leaving certificates / migration certificates, failing which the candidate’s offer of admission is cancelled.

Note 2: The percentage of marks in X and XII Standard earned by the applicant would be determined on the basis of the combined marks of all subjects included in the test sheet / grade sheet, regardless of the Board’s regulation. In the event that the applicants are given letter grades or grade points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to the percentage of marks would be based on the Board / Competent Authority approved process specifying the transfer method from where they received the certificate.


Candidates wishing to secure admission into the PGP programme need to have an undergraduate degree with at least 50% marks. Candidates must also submit the CAT admission exam test score. Once students are selected based on the cut off list, applicants are invited for an interview and a written test. Another 35% weightage is given to academic performance, work experience and diversity of the applicants. CAT score is also required in the DPM programme.

For admission into the IPM programme, applicants need to sit for the IPM exam, written ability test, interview, past academic performance. EPGPx applicants need to sit for an entrance exam like CAT or GMAT or GRE or GATE and also sit for a personal interview. Additionally, candidates are required to have a minimum of  5 years of managerial experience. FRO EFPM applicants, an entrance exam score and interview are held. All the above-mentioned admission criteria are more relaxed if the applicant has completed their undergraduate from IIM. 


IIM Rohtak releases the IPM 2020 Application form for admission in IIM Rohtak. The conducting body has released the application form online at its official website. Candidates who are going to fill this application form are advised to read the eligibility criteria before applying. IIM Rohtak IPM 2020 Application Form must be filled and submitted on or before its last date with the requisite application fees. To submit the IIM Rohtak IPM 2020 application form, the eligible applicants will pay the non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 3890/- (Three Eight Hundred and Ninety Only).
