 Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) located in New Delhi, is a public university providing admissions to candidates for UG, PG and Doctorate courses. JNU provides admission in courses for streams including- Humanities & Social Sciences, IT & Software, Science and Law. Courses such as International Studies, Molecular Medicine and Sanskrit Studies are also now being provided by the University.

Aspiring candidates may apply for the courses by filling the JNU 2020 APPLICATION FORM.  Candidates are eligible for admission in JNU based on their merit determined as per performance in the entrance test. Different programmes will release different merit lists and cut off. JNU 2020 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA mentions the minimum eligibility compulsory for the candidate to satisfy for a particular course. Jawaharlal Nehru University conducts JNUEE 2020 in affiliation with NTA (National Testing Agency) for providing admission to various UG and PG programmes in the university. JNU 2020 Entrance Exam JNUEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have cleared their class 12th with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. Candidates with awaited 12th results are also eligible to apply. 


JNUEE 2020 EXAM PATTERN states that the test is for three hours duration. As per JNUEE 2020 EXAM PATTERN, the test will be conducted in the online mode and would comprise of multiple choice questions. JNUEE 2020 RESULT can be visited on the official website of JNU. The JNUEE 2020 RESULT will be announced only via online mode on  May 31, 2020. Candidates can check the JNUEE 2020 RESULT by following steps:

  1. Candidates have to visit the official website of JNU 

  2. Candidates have to Click on the link “JNU Entrance Examination Results 2020-21”.

  3. Select program of study, field of study and application number.

  4. Click on the “search” button.

  5. The JNUEE 2020 result will appear on your computer screen.

Candidates qualifying the JNUEE 2020 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION will be called for the next round of selection which is viva-voce. A merit list is published after the VIVA-VOCE by JNU for candidates of all categories for each program of study. 


JNU released the JNU 2020 CUTOFF after the beginning of JNUEE 2020. JNU 2020 CUTOFF includes minimum marks required by the candidates to qualify for the admission process. Various factors such as  the total number of test takers for a particular exam, difficulty level of the test, maximum and minimum marks obtained, previous years’ cutoffs, etc are considered before releasing JNU 2020 CUTOFF. 

JNU 2020 CUTOFF is different for different programmes and categories. Qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the JNU 2020 ADMISSION process.


  • Candidates are supposed to bring their original documents on the day of admission. The documents that candidates need to carry with them are listed below:

    • Mark sheet and certificate of Class 12 

    • Mark sheet and certificate of Graduation (if applicable)

    • Mark sheet and certificate of Post graduation (if applicable)

    • Caste certificate

    • Transfer certificate

    • JNUEE 2020 admit card

    • Passport size photographs


JNUEE 2020 APPLICATION FORM can be filled online by the candidates. JNUEE 2020 APPLICATION FORM can be downloaded from the official university website from March 2 to 31st March 2020. Here are some guidelines for completing the JNUEE 2020 APPLICATION FORM:

Step 1: Registration 

  1. Candidates have to visit the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University

  2. Candidates have to click on the link “Application form- Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination”.

  3. Candidates are supposed to create a login ID by providing compulsory details such as name, programme of study, valid email address, valid mobile number, nationality, date of birth and password. 

  4. Application number for JNU admissions will be sent on the registered mail id by the university.

Step 2: Fill details in the application form

  1. Candidates have to Login on the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University by providing their JNU application number and password.

  2. Candidates have to Fill in the personal, educational and contact details asked in the JNUEE 2020 APPLICATION FORM.

Step 3: Uploading the documents

Candidates have to upload their scanned images of the following documents in the mentioned specification in the JNUEE 2020 APPLICATION FORM:

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee

  • Candidates can pay the JNUEE 2020 APPLICATION FEE via debit card/credit card/internet banking or e-Challan of SBI bank.

  • The JNUEE 2020 APPLICATION FEE for JNUEE 2020 is non-refundable.

After the online submission of JNUEE 2020 APPLICATION FORM, candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page for future use. Offline submission of JNUEE 2020 APPLICATION FEE can be done via speed post/registered post to the following address:
